An original SoCal Native, Chef Katie loves living, working and volunteering in Orange County, California. Attending the Baking & Pastry Program at The Art Institute of OC, Chef Katie turned a natural talent for baking into a profession. Working for Mario Batalli as a Pasrty Cook, Chef Katie learned skills to create the best desserts. Teaching Macarons at Sur La Table Costa Mesa Chef Katie developed a fun and easy way for people to learn how to make macarons at home. Le Pop Shop allows Chef Katie to express her creativity with pastry and the latest culinary trends. Taking the classic French Macaron combined with a modern twist as a sweets
