RioRaw’s story began in 2010 when Brazilian-American private chef, Luciana, had a simple idea. She wanted to serve coconut water in its raw form, the way she grew up drinking it in Rio de Janeiro. When coconut water became a hit in the US Luciana was excited to have coconut water readily available. As she began tasting these various brands of processed drinks sold at stores, her enthusiasm dwindled. That was when Luciana grew the passion for a small business that served the real deal, coconut water served 100% raw, un-processed, and straight from the coco.
