Before opening Velvet Rope Bake Shop, Eric Katigbak was a TV commercial and music video producer with over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry. A self-proclaimed dessert fanatic with a passion for baking, Eric would bake treats and give them as personal gifts to many of his celebrity clients. They, along with his family and friends, encouraged him to take his love of baking into a professional direction. In June of 2010, Eric started Velvet Rope Bake Shop and is excited to share his love of baking beautiful and unforgettably delicious desserts for all occasions.
